Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget.
- Handle the stock of ingredients required to prepare bakery items, understand the ingredient quantities, and list them down.
- Identify the ingredient requirements by analyzing the inventory, and place orders and communicate information to the respective authorities.
- Frequently monitoring the ingredients stock to detect requirements and place orders ensuring the expenses are within the company budget.
- Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to work more efficiently.
- Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel.
- Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards.
