Job Description

• Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs.
 
• Identify the correct part number for the requested spare parts through the computerized part
 
catalogues.
 
• Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payment.
 
• Ensure that all spare parts are issued in accordance to the company policy and procedures.
 
• Establish back orders for spare parts not available in stock and keep customers informed with the
 
order progress.
 
• Advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not
 
available.
 
• Maintain accurate records of all spare parts sales activity and prepare regular reports to enable
 
effective planning.
 
• Examine returned parts for defects, and exchange defective parts or refund money.
 
• Ensure the achievement of sales targets
