Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Provide expert emergency care for critically ill and injured children.
- Rapidly assess and stabilize paediatric patients, initiating appropriate interventions.
- Manage a wide range of paediatric emergencies, including trauma, respiratory distress, and cardiac arrest.
- Offer compassionate and empathetic patient care, addressing their concerns and providing reassurance to families.
- Clinical Leadership:
- Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in clinical audits and research projects to advance the field of paediatric emergency medicine.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in paediatric emergency medicine.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Essential:
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine with a focus on paediatric emergency medicine
- Significant clinical experience in paediatric emergency medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are advantageous)
- Desirable:
- Fellowship training in paediatric emergency medicine
- Experience in a multicultural healthcare setting
- A passion for teaching and research
