Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Provide expert diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, arrhythmias, and other paediatric cardiac conditions.
- Perform a wide range of paediatric cardiac procedures, including catheterizations and surgeries.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans and manage complex paediatric cardiac cases.
- Offer compassionate and empathetic patient care, addressing their concerns and providing reassurance.
- Clinical Leadership:
- Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in clinical audits and research projects to advance the field of paediatric cardiology.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in paediatric cardiology technology and techniques.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Essential:
- Board certification in Paediatric Cardiology
- Significant clinical experience in paediatric cardiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are advantageous)
- Desirable:
- Fellowship training in paediatric cardiology
- Experience in a multicultural healthcare setting
- A passion for teaching and research
