Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Provide safe and effective anaesthesia care for infants, children, and adolescents undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures.
- Manage complex paediatric anaesthesia cases, including those with congenital heart defects and other chronic illnesses.
- Develop and implement anaesthesia plans tailored to the specific needs of each child.
- Offer compassionate and empathetic patient care, addressing their concerns and providing reassurance.
- Clinical Leadership:
- Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in clinical audits and research projects to advance the field of paediatric anaesthesia.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in paediatric anaesthesia technology and techniques.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Essential:
- Board certification in Anaesthesia with a focus on paediatric anaesthesia
- Significant clinical experience in paediatric anaesthesia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are advantageous)
- Desirable:
- Fellowship training in paediatric anaesthesia
- Experience in a multicultural healthcare setting
- A passion for teaching and research
