Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Provide safe and effective anaesthesia care for infants, children, and adolescents undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures.
Manage complex paediatric anaesthesia cases, including those with congenital heart defects and other chronic illnesses.
Develop and implement anaesthesia plans tailored to the specific needs of each child.
Offer compassionate and empathetic patient care, addressing their concerns and providing reassurance.
Clinical Leadership:
Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
Participate in clinical audits and research projects to advance the field of paediatric anaesthesia.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in paediatric anaesthesia technology and techniques.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
Board certification in Anaesthesia with a focus on paediatric anaesthesia
Significant clinical experience in paediatric anaesthesia
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are advantageous)
Desirable:
Fellowship training in paediatric anaesthesia
Experience in a multicultural healthcare setting
A passion for teaching and research
