Summary:
The technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining instrumentation and automation equipment, including robots, control valves, actuators, smart transmitters, pneumatic cylinders, weighing systems, packaging lines and related accessories. This involves performing the following duties.
Responsibilities / Duties:
· Adhere to safety policies and procedures before, during, and after job execution (e.g., Risk Assessment, Work Permit, LOTO, etc.).
· Conduct troubleshooting through diagnostics, measurements, and analysis by disassembling/reassembling equipment to determine repair steps.
· Ensure process-oriented analysis is considered during troubleshooting.
· Apply relevant standards for the repair and installation of all field instruments.
· Troubleshoot and repair various equipment, including control valves, actuators, smart transmitters, pneumatic cylinders, and other instrumentation-related devices.
· Utilize calibration tools.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area, eliminate slip and trip hazards, and dispose of waste materials properly.
· Perform corrective and preventive maintenance as per maintenance orders issued by the planning team and conduct test runs for acceptance.
· Prepare and submit daily work reports to the Packaging Automation Engineer.
· Share knowledge and provide training to subordinates as needed.
