As the Outbound Team Leader, you will play a key role in coordinating with various teams, managing ground area clearance, and maintaining compliance with transfer order protocols.
1. Outbound Shipment Management:
· Ensure the smooth and efficient processing of outbound shipments.
· Prevent backlogs in outbound shipments.
2. Transfer Order Protocols:
· Adhere to transfer order protocols for accurate and timely shipments.
3. Coordination and Collaboration:
· Coordinate effectively with various teams involved in the outbound process.
· Collaborate with the inbound team to streamline overall logistics operations.
4. Gate Pass Verification:
· Verify Gate Pass compliance for outbound shipments.
· Confirm proper documentation for shipped transfer orders.
5. Ground Area Clearance:
· Manage ground area clearance for the next shift.
6. Reporting and Analysis:
· Prepare monthly transportation analysis reports.
· Communicate with direct management regarding missing batches.
7. Timely Deliveries:
· Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to designated stores.
8. Cross-Team Communication:
· Coordinate with other zone teams for efficient order processing.
· Proactively report any order delays to relevant stakeholders.
9. Cost Optimization and Quality Standards:
· Focus on optimizing transportation costs.
· Minimize driver wait times, maximize truck utilization, and maintain quality standards for high-value items and pallets.
