An exciting opportunity is available for Operator, Production, based in Dammam.
Summary:
Role holders will be responsible for operating/controlling/maintaining complex equipment and monitoring its operation so that the product quality and inventory is maintained.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Direct operators/technicians, ensuring that all field activities are effectively coordinated during normal, start up and emergency situations.
- Plan and coordinate work across the process areas to ensure that operational/maintenance activities (including shutdowns, etc) are completed.
- Understand existing processes, procedures and practices and make recommendations for improvement.
- Undertake troubleshooting of a more complex nature across the process’s areas.
- Ensure operational safety practices are being followed, through monitoring the work of staff and issuing permits for maintenance work so that site activities are conducted safely.
- Prepare relevant shift/daily reports to ensure supervisors are informed of the process status.
- Conduct appropriate safety staff briefings to maintain operational safety.
- Conduct observations on unsafe/safe acts and reports in timely manner.
- Supervise the day-to-day activities of the shift and manage all field operating/maintenance activities, ensuring they are executed in a safe and efficient manner so that the operational area meets customer demands.
- Monitoring staff performance through appraising and identifying training needs so that they are effectively developed to meet the requirements of the role.
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
• Diploma degree.
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the same field.

- Plant Operations.
- Manufacturing Process.
- Operational Safety.
- Fluency in English language with excellent communication (written & oral) skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
