Job Description

You as an Operations Manager will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will oversee and optimize operations across four key areas as Planning and Fulfillment, Production, Industrial Engineering Development, and Warehouse Management. Your role is crucial in ensuring efficiency, coordination, and productivity throughout the factory. You will have a full accountability of running the mid-long-term strategy and day-to-day operational execution focused on material availability, capacity readiness and organization meeting market and customers’ expectations. Your responsibilities           Accountable that all Factory Operation functions as organized, staffed, and directed. Accountable to build an effective, capable, and high-performing organization. Responsible to develop talent, review organizational effectiveness, performing competence assessments and continuous skill upgrades. Management of Operations as owns and is accountable to deliver GIS Dammam Factory level RELEX KPIs in line with company expectations and accountable to deliver 4C targets for Operation as safety, quality, delivery, Inventory, Productivity and responsible for on-time project execution. Planning and fulfillment as developing and implementing strategic plans for material forecasting to ensure timely availability of resources, coordinating closely with feeder factories to align supply chain processes and schedules and analyzing market trends and production demands to adjust forecasts and inventory levels. Production management as oversee assembly and testing processes to ensure high-quality production output, managing vendor relationships and workforce hours to optimize production schedules and costs and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime. Industrial Engineering Development as leading efforts to improve operational efficiency and reduce cycle times, conducting time and motion studies to identify areas for process optimization and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing principles. Warehouse Management as managing materials handling and ensure the timely delivery of materials to production lines, optimizing warehouse layout and processes to improve storage and retrieval efficiency and monitoring inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and excess. Your background               A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, or a related field). Proven experience in operations management within the energy or manufacturing sector. Strong leadership and communication skills. Strong knowledge base for Lean manufacturing and 6 Sigma. Continuous Improvement background with minimum of Green Belt and Black Belt Certification is an advantage and risk Management with practical experience in FMEA with capability to investigate root cases of failures and create control plans. Good knowledge in Quality Management system & Operational Planning &control in production environment. Experience with SAP or MES system software is a plus. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
