The Operations Director is primarily responsible for leading and managing the Product Operations department at Suhail, ensuring the alignment of customer success and operational business support functions. In this role, the Operations Director will collaborate closely with Account Executives throughout the customer journey, focusing on delivering value, enhancing client satisfaction, and achieving strategic goals centered around customer retention and loyalty. This position involves steering the Product Operations Department, participating in the creation and execution of strategic plans, and supporting management objectives to ensure the company’s growth and success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with the operations team to develop and implement the annual operating plan that aligns with Suhail’s long-term strategic goals.
- Ensure Suhail maintains a competitive edge within the industry, continuously improving market position.
- Provide regular updates on day-to-day operations, highlighting progress toward goals and addressing any significant deviations. Secure necessary approvals to proceed with key initiatives.
- Lead communication efforts within the team, ensuring efficient resolution of operational issues and smooth project development.
- Evaluate and manage operational risks across proposals, projects, and staffing, ensuring proactive risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee daily departmental operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and keeping management informed on key performance indicators and developments.
- Represent Suhail at relevant networking events, training sessions, and management meetings within the product industry.
- Manage partnerships and responsible sales efforts, ensuring effective supply acquisition to support business objectives.
- Oversee and manage the support team, including Customer Success (Account Management), Sales, and Customer Support, ensuring alignment with company goals and exceptional client satisfaction.
- Align product operations strategies with Suhail’s overall business targets, ensuring all initiatives contribute to company growth and success.
- Work closely with the product development team to translate business needs into technical requirements that drive product innovation and operational efficiency.
- Supervise the system infrastructure to ensure optimal functionality, scalability, and efficiency in product operations.
- Ensure methodologies and strategies used in product services are credible, accurate, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices by reading relevant materials and collaborating with peers to bring innovative ideas to Suhail’s product operations.
- Keep leadership fully informed about the performance and condition of the product operations department, highlighting key areas of focus.
- Identify operational challenges and opportunities, address them proactively, and facilitate discussions with the management team to drive effective solutions.
