At KBR,Job Description: Offshore Program Director should have minimum 25 relevant experience in Offshore industry or similar industry and has construction management experience on mega projects. Coordinates with other functional managers to ensure correct implementation of the project construction specifications and standards. Must have throughout knowledge of engineering deign development, construction practices, economic principles, international codes, standards, procedures and specifications. Has the overall responsibility of program management and is responsible for the overall project cost, schedule, safety and quality Role Responsibilities:Assures safe project executionDelivers to clients satisfaction and contractual requirementsAccountable for project cost performance and accounts receivableServes as prime point of contact between the client and companyAssures the project execution is in accordance with policies, procedures, systemsManages and coordinates project leadership personnelSupports Business Development and proposals for new offshore opportunitiesNegotiates changes with the client Negotiates changes with the clientResponsible for all contracts in their program of worksUse and share best practices among the PM's.Negotiates changes with the clientPlans the project execution and revises the plan as necessary and assures adherence to the plan.Keeps the client and company advised of project status.Leads the project management team and is responsible for the successful completion of the projectAbides by our business ethicsProject Delivery to the Quality Management systemsForecast workload ensuring deployment of sufficient resources (which will require close cooperation with the Engineering Manager)Resolution of inter-project conflictsManage all people assigned to offshore contracts effectivelyAppraising direct reports on a regular basisMaintaining and promoting Company ValuesPromoting the capturing and implementation of lessons learned on ProjectsSkills & ExperienceProven experience in the management of engineering and procurement projectsMust have strong knowledge of offshore and experience of detailed design projects. Ideally a mix of greenfield and brownfield experience. Fabrication/Construction experience would be beneficial.Strong financial and commercial understanding of projects.Ideally 25 years of relevant experience requiredAble to lead others in a challenging environment.Able to make decisions and drive decision processes.Well-developed management and administrative skills.Works within a team to establish direction, alignment and commitment.Interpersonal skillsRisk and Change ManagementProgram and Project PlanningWell organized, credible and decisive.Qualifications:Degree in Engineering is requiredWorking in a corporate role or on one of our projects, you will apply your knowledge and expertise to deliver excellent results to our clients.
