   alfanar Construction is classified as a Grade I contractor by the Contractors Classification Committee of the Government of Saudi Arabia.


  alfanar Building Systems manufactures and markets a variety of building construction products and systems. .


The core manufacturing activities of the industries operating under alfanar Building Systems are:


   • Ceramic wall and floor tiles


   • Façade cladding, glazing systems and architectural aluminum products


   • Precast concrete products and architectural elements


   • Office & home furniture and interior décor products


Job Purpose

Ensure that the workplace is safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly, work closely with management and employees to develop and implement safety and environmental policies, procedures, and programs.




Key Accountability Areas

Safety compliance:


  • Ensure that the workplace complies with all relevant safety regulations, standards, and codes of practice. This includes conducting regular inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure that appropriate control measures are in place.

Accident prevention:


  • Develop and implement accident prevention programs, including safety training, awareness campaigns, and emergency response plans. You will investigate accidents and incidents, analyze root causes, and develop corrective and preventive actions to minimize the risk of future incidents.

Occupational health:


  • Promote and monitor the health and well-being of employees by implementing occupational health programs. This includes conducting health risk assessments, coordinating medical surveillance programs, and providing guidance on ergonomic practices.

Environmental management:


  • Develop and implement environmental management programs to minimize the organization's impact on the environment. This includes monitoring compliance with environmental regulations, conducting environmental risk assessments, and implementing waste management and pollution control measures.

Training and education:


  • Provide training and education to employees on safety, health, and environmental topics. This includes conducting safety inductions, delivering toolbox talks, and organizing training sessions to raise awareness and promote a safety culture.

Incident reporting and investigation:


  • Ensure that incidents and near-misses are reported, documented, and investigated promptly. You will analyze incident data to identify trends and develop strategies to prevent future incidents.

Compliance monitoring:


  • Monitor and report on the organization's compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards. This includes maintaining records, preparing reports, and liaising with regulatory authorities as necessary.

  • Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:


  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:


  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
