Job Description

  • Develop and implement comprehensive OHS policies, procedures, and programs aligned with KSA labor laws and international standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential hazards.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation plans.
  • Monitor and control occupational safety and health risks.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans.
  • Conduct regular emergency drills and training.
  • Ensure availability of necessary emergency equipment.
  • Develop and deliver OHS training programs for all employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Conduct regular safety awareness campaigns.
  • Promote a strong safety culture within the organization.
  • Investigate all accidents and incidents promptly and thoroughly.
  • Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare and submit accident reports as required by law.
  • Monitor OHS performance and prepare regular reports.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure OHS performance.
  • Maintain effective communication with KSA labor authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and permits.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certified Occupational Health and Safety (COHS) or NEBOSH certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on OHS.
  • In-depth knowledge of KSA labor laws and safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
