Job Description

The Network & Infrastructure Presales Manager is responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership during the pre-sales phase for complex network and infrastructure solutions. This role focuses on engaging with customers, understanding their technical and business needs, and designing tailored solutions to address those requirements. The Presales Manager supports the sales team with proposals, demonstrations, and technical consultations while ensuring the proposed solutions align with current technologies and company offerings.


Key Responsibilities:


Technical Presales Support:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and technical challenges.
  • Design and propose structured cabling solutions (copper, fiber optic) along with network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, wireless).
  • Prepare technical documentation, presentations, and Bills of Material (BOM).
  • Participate in customer meetings, presenting technical solutions and conducting product demonstrations.
  • Good management skill and Man management skill required;
  • Ensuring Submission on time.
2. Solution Architecture & Design:
  • Develop comprehensive network designs, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and data center infrastructure.
  • Propose solutions that incorporate cloud services, virtualization, storage, and cybersecurity technologies.
  • Propose structured cabling systems that support current and future network demands, adhering to industry standards (TIA/EIA, ISO).
  • Ensure scalability, security, and compatibility with the customer’s existing infrastructure.
  • Perform site surveys and assessments to gather technical data and provide accurate proposals.
3. Proposal Management & RFP Responses:
  • Lead the preparation of RFPs/RFQs and tender responses, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.
  • Create and deliver solution architectures, proposals, and project plans that align with the client’s goals.
  • Work with procurement teams to align vendor offerings with project requirements.
4. Vendor & Partner Collaboration:
  • Maintain relationships with key cabling and networking vendors (e.g., Panduit, CommScope, Cisco).
  • Stay updated on the latest infrastructure, networking, and cloud solutions from partners such as Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Juniper, and Structured cabling vendors.
  • Recommend appropriate technologies and vendors based on client needs and project scope.
5. Customer Engagement & Consultation:
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor for clients, offering insights into industry trends and best practices.
  • Conduct technical workshops and proof of concept (POC) sessions with customers.
  • Good presentation skill
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve future solutions and offerings.
6. Team Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Lead and mentor a team of presales engineers, providing guidance and support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Work closely with project management, technical delivery, and post-sales teams to ensure smooth handover and execution.
  • Develop presales best practices and standard templates for documentation and proposals.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in presales or technical consulting for network and infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), firewalls, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
  • Expertise in designing solutions with Cisco, HPE, Fortinet, VMware, or equivalent technologies.
  • Familiarity with data center solutions, virtualization platforms, and enterprise storage.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
  • Certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet NSE, VMware VCP, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
