- Finding and sourcing suitable investments for the team’s portfolios through regular screening, analysis and corporate meetings in his area of expertise, which is the healthcare value chain
- Maintaining peer group and industry knowledge, evolution, and insights
- Market based research relating to understanding drivers of stock returns in his area of responsibility
- Presenting findings of research to the broader investment team
- Engaging and monitoring of existing investments
- Assisting in portfolio management discussions on individual companies in his attention area
- Assisting in risk management analysis and discussions on holdings under his research accountability
- Assembling reporting and marketing materials representing the analysis, modelling and valuation for portfolio investments in his value chain.
- Participating in meetings with portfolio holdings, candidates and well as portfolio clients
Necessary Qualifications; Education and/or Experience:
- 5 + years of investment management experience.
- A well-articulated investment philosophy and demonstrated track record of outperformance versus relevant industry peers and benchmarks.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; an advanced degree such as an MBA and/or the CFA designation.
