Job Description

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our Technical Office team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure projects and technical office tasks including design review, coordination, quantity surveying, and preparing shop drawings.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Review mechanical designs and shop drawings.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Prepare material submittals and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Support site teams with technical queries and updates.
  • Involve in cost estimation and quantity take-off if required.

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Total experience: Minimum 7 years.
  • Infrastructure projects experience: At least 4 years.
  • Technical office experience: Minimum 3 years.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Previous experience in GCC or Saudi Arabia is a plus.


Skills

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in infrastructure projects (e.g., piping, HVAC, plumbing).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design and drafting tools.
  • Familiarity with international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.).
  • Good understanding of quantity take-off and BOQ preparation.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • PMP or equivalent project management knowledge is a plus.
  • Previous experience in the GCC region is preferred.
