An MEP Design Review Engineer is responsible for reviewing and evaluating the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) designs to ensure they meet project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. This role involves collaborating with design teams, providing technical guidance, and ensuring the integration of MEP systems within the overall building design.


Responsibilities:


  • MEP Designs review for compliance with project specifications, standards, and codes
  • including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, district cooling plants, grey water
  • treatment plant & Automatic waste mangement plant.
  • Analyze and optimize the energy efficiency and sustainability of mechanical systems.
  • Work with architects, engineers, interior designer and other stakeholders to ensure MEP
  • systems are integrated seamlessly into building designs.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of MEP designs through thorough review and analysis.
  • Identify design issues and discrepancies in MEP systems.
  • Provide technical advice and recommendations to design teams to improve MEP system
  • designs.
  • Verify that all MEP designs comply with relevant building codes, standards, and
  • regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed review reports, design specifications, and other project
  • documentation. Knowledge of Mostadam, LEED.
  • Knowledge of installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 12 years of experience in MEP design and review.
  • Proficiency with design and review software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and
  • other relevant tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent
  • communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
