Job Summary
The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and systems within the Static, Rotating, and Packages disciplines. They will work closely with the engineering team to ensure that designs meet project requirements and are cost-effective.
Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Prepare detailed mechanical component and system designs within the Static, Rotating, and Packages disciplines, utilizing 3D modeling and drafting software.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis to evaluate the feasibility and performance of new designs within the Static, Rotating, and Packages disciplines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with project objectives and requirements, specifically within the Static, Rotating, and Packages disciplines.
- Testing and Validation: Perform rigorous testing and validation procedures to verify the performance and reliability of designs within the Static, Rotating, and Packages disciplines.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, for Static, Rotating, and Packages components and systems.
Preferred Candidate Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design within EPC companies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
