Job Description

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that meet curriculum standards for mathematics.
  • Teach mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
  • Assess and evaluate student understanding through tests, quizzes, and assignments.
  • Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment that fosters student participation and collaboration.
  • Provide additional support and resources for students needing extra help.
  • Utilize technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and student assessment strategies.
  • Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding academic progress and classroom activities.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational practices.


Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Teaching certification or license in [State/Country].
  • Strong knowledge of mathematical theories and applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
  • Experience in diverse classroom settings is a plus.
