Job Description

  • Maintain and manage the Scheduling System on a daily/weekly basis to support the Operations.
  • Review scheduling requirements and ensure demands are manufactured within scheduled deadlines
  • Ensure timely, full and accurate communication with all relevant departments on any factors which impact on delivery dates, commitments to customers, quality etc.
  • Identify and manage bottlenecks and capacity issues with the Production Management team, co-ordinate the resolution of the issues.
  • Produce weekly / monthly reports as required
  • Provide support with the introduction of new products to ensure operational planning requirements are completed on time and within budget
  • Establish and monitor SAP system parameters, including safety stock levels & FIFO for finished goods and raw material inventories.
  • Lead weekly/monthly Master Production Schedule meetings.
  • responding to and dealing with customer communication by email and telephone

·       Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate

·       Maintain warehouse systems and work on continuous improvement

  • Liaise with other departments to achieve on time delivery at optimum cost with optimum inventory levels.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to develop the team knowledge.
  • Maintain a high standard of professional knowledge, ethics and practices when dealing with customers, suppliers, peers, subordinates, supervisors 


Skills

1.       Proven Knowledge in production planning

2.       Working knowledge of MS Office

3.       Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

4.       SAP production planning module experience as SAP Key User

5.       Leadership skills and ability manage staff

6.       Strong decision making and problem solving skills

7.       Strong planning, organizational skills and attention to detail are required

8.       Excellent written and verbal communication skills & Professional attitude

9.       BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or Industrial Engineering
