Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Material (C&A) section, overseeing procurement, inventory management, and logistics for construction materials.
- Develop and implement strategies for sourcing materials, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to define material requirements and specifications.
- Monitor market trends and pricing for construction materials to inform procurement decisions and bidding processes.
- Manage the inventory of materials, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely delivery to meet project schedules.
- Prepare and present reports on material usage, procurement performance, and cost analysis to senior management.
- Implement best practices in procurement and inventory management to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in all procurement activities.
