Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Material (C&A) section, overseeing procurement, inventory management, and logistics for construction materials.
  • Develop and implement strategies for sourcing materials, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to define material requirements and specifications.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing for construction materials to inform procurement decisions and bidding processes.
  • Manage the inventory of materials, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely delivery to meet project schedules.
  • Prepare and present reports on material usage, procurement performance, and cost analysis to senior management.
  • Implement best practices in procurement and inventory management to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in all procurement activities.

(job will be between projects in Riyadh and Dammam)

Skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of [X years] of experience in material management, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least [Y years] in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, procurement processes, and vendor management.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
