Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire bidding process for materials, ensuring compliance with project requirements and organizational standards.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms from suppliers and vendors.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to define material specifications and requirements for bids.
  • Analyze bid submissions, evaluating pricing, quality, and delivery timelines to recommend optimal sourcing options.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor market trends and material costs to inform bidding strategies and procurement decisions.
  • Prepare and present detailed bid proposals and procurement plans to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Implement best practices for bid management and procurement processes, enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices in all procurement activities.

(job will be between projects in Riyadh and Dammam)

Skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of [X years] of experience in material procurement, bidding, or supply chain management, with at least [Y years] in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, material specifications, and vendor management.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
