Marketing Director - Channel Management



Riyadh Marketing – Channel Marketing Management / Full-Time / On-site About the Role As the Marketing Director - Channel Management, you will be responsible for launching, overseeing, and managing paid, earned, and owned media campaigns to drive growth and engagement. You will play a critical role in managing and optimizing campaigns across various digital and offline channels, ensuring alignment with our business goals and maximizing ROI. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both online and offline advertising and experience creating and executing successful campaigns across various marketing channels while possessing exceptional leadership and strategic planning skills. Additionally, this position will involve market analysis, campaign management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams within the marketing team to continually drive brand awareness and growth at scale
About the Team Our Marketing team is the powerhouse behind our SaaS-based retail inventory management and POS solution, driving brand recognition and customer engagement. The current team is organized around three pillar functions - 1. Market (brand, demand, and product marketing), 2. Operations (marketing tech, project management, and analytics), and 3. Production (content, creative, and channel management). With this structured approach, our team works in unison to deliver impactful tactics and campaigns. As the Marketing Director - Channel Management, you'll lead the charge in the Channel Management function which includes the paid, earned, and owned media campaigns squad, collaborating with our talented teams, and reporting to the VP of Marketing. Responsibilities Media Strategy Development: Develop, build on existing, and execute a comprehensive media strategy to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and product adoption goals. Campaign Management: Manage and optimize campaigns across various offline and digital channels, including SEM, SEO, social media, email, direct marketing, SMS, and more. Collaboration and Alignment: Collaborate with the larger marketing, demand generations, brand marketing, product marketing, and sales teams to understand target personas, messaging, and objectives, using this information to drive business objectives. Data-Driven Optimization: Utilize analytics and data to continuously optimize project and campaign performance and improve ROI Industry Trends and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, continuously evaluating and recommending new media channels and tactics. Budget Management: Manage and oversee the overall channel (earned, owned, paid) media budget, ensuring that campaigns are optimized to maximize spend and achieve desired results. Vendor and Partner Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners to ensure successful campaign execution and optimization.
Qualifications Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: 10+ years of experience in marketing and advertising, with a focus on B2B, technology, and SaaS. Media Channel Expertise: Strong understanding of 360 degree media channels, including search, display, direct, social, native, content, and so on. Analytics and Optimization: Experience with analytics and optimization, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and measure campaign success. Leadership Skills: Proven leadership abilities with a track record of managing a team of media planners and buyers and digital marketers. Excellent mentoring and team-building skills. Analytical Skills: Exceptional media management and problem-solving capabilities with a keen analytical mindset suitable for a complex media planning and buying matrix. Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills in English and Arabic, adept at discussing complex information clearly and persuasively with various stakeholders within the larger marketing team and with other departments. Project Management: Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills: Proficiency with planning and executing integrated marketing projects and campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, product adoption, and most importantly, lead generation at scale in Saudi Arabia. Also experienced in SEO, offline conversions (connecting CRM to the ads manager), marketing automation, and attribution models.
