Marine Safety Engineer (Saudi Arabia)

The Marine Safety Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that marine operations adhere to safety regulations and best practices, conducting risk assessments, and developing safety protocols to mitigate hazards associated with marine activities.

• Assess risks and safety hazards associated with marine operations
• Develop and implement marine safety policies, procedures, and plans
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and site evaluations on vessels and marine facilities
• Monitor compliance with local and international maritime safety regulations
• Investigate incidents and accidents; ensure lessons learned are integrated into safety practices
• Provide training and guidance to marine personnel on safety practices
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to safety
• Participate in emergency response planning and drills
