Job Description

Key Accountabilities:


Strategic Contribution


•    Contribute to and execute the approved Internal Audit strategy to meet business objectives.
•    Develop the IT Audit Strategy and Business Plan and obtain approval from the Chief Audit Executive to check on security protocols and processes and ensure IT governance.
Policies, Processes and Procedures


•    Lead the development and implementation of IT audit policies, processes, procedures, controls, and standards to ensure compliance. 
•    Contribute to the review, and approval of all IT audit policies, procedures, and standards to meet changing requirements and the future needs of the businesses.
Leadership


•    Develop and execute integrated organization and manpower plans to support the accomplishment of resourcing plans including the recruitment, training, and development of multi-cultural staff.
•    Promote and reinforce Ma’aden’s values to support and shape the culture of the Company.
•    Create and maintain a performance culture to achieve targets.
•    Support and enable the delivery of Ma’aden’s various transformational agendas and programmes to achieve organisational objectives in this regard.
•    Build people capability in own teams to capture value and drive impact at all levels.
•    Establish and maintain a working environment and culture that engages all IT audit employees.  
•    Identify and develop high potential individuals (HiPo’s) to enable them to progress and develop into more senior roles.


Performance Management


•    Subject to agreed criteria, recruitment, and training, set action and targets, appraise, and manage performance, develop, coach, and provide general support to team members to ensure productivity and engagement.


Reporting
•    Oversee the preparation of concise reports to the Chief Audit Executive presenting any key IT audit findings, potential business risks, as well as relevant action plans on mitigation and prevention.
•    Drive the preparation of all IT audit reports in a timeous and accurate manner to meet statutory requirements, organizational needs, policies, and quality standards.
•    Oversee all IT Audit reports to ensure the reports are clear / concise as well as root causes with practical solutions are identified.
Technology Audit
•    Examine internal Technology controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, and determine exposure to risk to develop remediation strategies.
•    Assess the planning and implementing of Technology.
•    Perform regular audit testing and provide recommendations to conduct efficient and effective audit procedures.
•    Communicate complex technical issues in simplified terms to management.
Continuous Improvement 
•    Evaluate existing methodologies to determine current capability and propose prospective improvements for IT Audit. 
 


Skills and Competencies:


Technical / Functional:
•    Thorough knowledge of the best IT audit standards and practices.
•    Experience with infrastructure/platforms, security, networks and applications
•    Financial and IT application experience 
•    Clear understanding of IT audit methodologies.
Leadership:


•    Fostering discipline and managing employee relationships.
•    Managing people performance.
•    Developing self and others.
•    Leading and facilitating digitalization within the function.
•    Transformation and change agent.
