Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team. As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and repair of our facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will be crucial in keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently.


Responsibilities

  • Execute daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of facilities, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and perform repairs or replacements as necessary.
  • Prioritize and coordinate maintenance tasks in collaboration with other teams to minimize disruptions to operations.
  • Implement preventive maintenance measures to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment inventories.
  • Prepare reports on maintenance activities, including expenditures and completion rates, for management review.
  • Collaborate with external contractors and vendors to ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance projects.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar maintenance role, preferably in the logistics industry.
  • Strong technical background and knowledge of maintenance best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • In-depth understanding of occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to operate and maintain various tools, equipment, and machinery.
