Job Description
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that
machinery and equipment run smoothly and reliably. This role involves planning
and undertaking scheduled maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns,
diagnosing faults, and overseeing maintenance work. The ideal candidate will
have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the
ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance:
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment and
systems.
- Identify and rectify potential issues before they lead to
equipment failure.
- Repairs and Troubleshooting:
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform
necessary repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical
faults.
- Ensure quick
resolution of issues to minimize downtime and disruption.
Equipment Management:- Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and
equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Continuous Improvement:- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and
performance.
- Implement modifications and upgrades to machinery and
systems.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action
plans for recurring issues.
Technical Support:- Provide technical support and guidance to the production
team.
- Train operators and maintenance staff on proper equipment
use and maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enhance
equipment performance.
- Inventory Management:
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of
critical components.
- Coordinate with suppliers for the procurement of parts and
equipment.

QualificationsEducation:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience:
2 To 3 Years.Computer skills.Ability to lead the team.
