What will your main responsibilities be
The BUL-Shipping Assistant is responsible for managing the shipping process, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining effective communication with various departments to support smooth operations. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of the company's logistics and transportation functions.
What you need to succeed
Experiences & Qualifications Knowledge of the SAP system
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in logistics and transportation is preferred
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Managing Shipments: Oversee the shipping process, including preparing and processing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Watching GIT Shipments: Follow GIT shipments and ensure that all shipments reach their destination on time.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as warehouse, sales, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations.
SAP System: Have knowledge of the SAP system to manage and track shipments effectively.
Pallet Utilization Management: Keep track of inventory levels, ensure that stock is accurately recorded, and manage any discrepancies it may loaded on trucks.
Customer Service: Communicate with customers regarding their orders, address any issues or concerns, and provide updates on shipment status.
Compliance: Ensure that all shipping activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
Controlling Cost Shipments: Ensure all shipments are closed on system based on agreements with our vendors.
