This role will oversee the procurement of logistics services and G&A-related expenditures, driving efficiencies and ensuring value creation across the organization. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Category Management: • Develop and implement category strategies for logistics and G&A to achieve cost savings, supplier performance improvement, and operational efficiency. • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the logistics and G&A categories. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and align procurement strategies with organizational goals. • Ensure compliance with PepsiCo's procurement policies and procedures while promoting best practices. Supplier Management: • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to drive long-term value and continuous improvement. • Lead supplier negotiations, including contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs). • Evaluate supplier performance through KPIs, ensuring service quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. • Identify and mitigate supplier-related risks to maintain continuity of operations. Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization: • Drive strategic sourcing initiatives to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service levels. • Leverage global procurement insights and local market intelligence to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO). • Work closely with finance and operations teams to monitor budget adherence and forecast procurement expenses. • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency. Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Partner with internal teams such as logistics, finance, HR, and legal to ensure alignment on procurement goals and strategies. • Support business units by providing expert procurement guidance and ensuring category strategies align with operational needs. • Act as a subject matter expert on logistics and G&A procurement practices within the organization. Data Analysis & Reporting: • Analyze spend data, market trends, and supplier performance metrics to support strategic decision-making. • Prepare regular reports and presentations on category performance, cost savings, and key initiatives. • Utilize procurement systems and tools to enhance visibility and control over category spending. Qualifications • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of procurement experience, preferably in logistics and general administrative categories within the FMCG industry. • Skills Required: - Strong negotiation and contract management skills. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. - Proficiency in procurement systems (SAP, Ariba, etc.) and MS Office Suite. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Language: Fluent in English and Arabic.
