Job Description Summary



The Localization Leader is responsible for leading and managing the localization strategy for GEV Gas Power in Saudi Arabia & Bahrain, ensuring that all products, services, or software offered to our customers are are effectively contributing to the GEV Gas Power local content targets as set forth by LCGPA, IKTVA (or any other localization program), and contributing to the overall localization strategy. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams such as New Units, Services, Repairs, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Product Lines, Finance, and HR to help drive a One-Gas Power Localization Strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for defining, executing, monitoring, and delivering all localization related initiatives and commitments to our customers, with specific focus on LCGPA (Local Content & Government Procurement Authority) and IKTVA (In-Kingdom Total Value Add) or other localization programs as they may arise. Assess all necessary Localization initiatives, evaluate effectiveness of current strategy, and form a baseline across all product lines and operating entities with specific focus on KPIs that impact local content scores. Create and implement company level and project level KPIs around localization to monitor and ensure competitiveness. Develop the necessary strategy and work with leadership to define a realistic, yet ambitious, future state for localization, while constantly identifying cross-synergies. Establish trusted relationships with all segments and horizontal functions’ leadership to obtain buy-in and alignment on the overall localization strategy and KPIs. Partner with function leaders to develop new local growth opportunities. Develop clear action plan with action owners, periodic targets, measurable KPIs and establish a rigorous operational rhythm. Lead internal and external communication program that highlights the local content and localization story for GEV with key customers the Kingdom. Develop an awareness program to achieve a region-wide engagement and exposure. Manage the relationship with the immediate and extended customer localization teams. Manage relationships with Key stakeholders and leadership at the LCGPA, IKTVA or other local content initiative entities. Manage and ensure the timely reporting and submission of audited local content score for relevant GEV entities and contracts to avoid business disruption. Track and report on localization performance, providing insights to senior management. Use data to drive decision-making, improve processes, and demonstrate the ROI of localization efforts. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering or relevant experience

Fluency in English & Arabic, (written & spoken)


. Proven experience in localization management, preferably in a leadership role. Proven experience in leading and managing strategy for local content and localization programs. The legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction. Solid Understanding of the Energy market in the sub-region. Strong oral and written communication skills Strong senior stakeholder management experience. Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
