Job Description

  • As part of your responsibilities, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise during the pre-sales process. You will work closely with clients and sales teams to understand customer requirements, develop tailored lighting solutions, and ensure a seamless transition from the pre-sales phase to project execution. Your deep knowledge of lighting products, design principles, and industry standards will be critical in securing new business and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Skills

  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of lighting design principles and standards.
  • Proficiency in lighting design software (e.g., DIALux, AutoCAD).
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency standards and sustainable lighting practices.
  • Understanding of control systems and smart lighting solutions.
  • Technical Consultation: Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and provide technical guidance on lighting solutions that meet project specifications and client expectations.
  • Solution Design: Develop customized lighting designs and proposals, including calculations, simulations, and technical drawings, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients during the pre-sales process to answer technical queries, address concerns, and build strong relationships that contribute to successful project outcomes.


  • Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role, preferably in the lighting industry.
