Lifting Foreman

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with lifting plans, safety procedures, and industry regulations.
• Conduct pre-lift safety checks and risk assessments.
• Inspect and verify lifting equipment, slings, shackles, and rigging gear before use.
• Coordinate with Crane Operators, Riggers, and Engineers for seamless lifting execution.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to permit-to-work systems and lifting procedures.
• Provide guidance and training to rigging teams on safe lifting practices.
• Report any incidents, near misses, or equipment malfunctions to management.
• Maintain proper documentation of lifting activities and equipment inspections.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in lifting operations within construction projects. 
• Experience in stadium construction or large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred
• Knowledge of heavy lifting operations with mobile and tower cranes is preferred
• Certification in Lifting Supervision, Rigging, or Crane Operations (e.g., LOLER, OPITO, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of lifting plans, crane configurations, and load calculations.
• Familiarity with international safety standards (OSHA, LOLER, BS 7121, ASME B30).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple lifting operations efficiently.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
