Job Description
A detail-oriented and proactive Leasing Assistant is required to join the team of a prominent real estate company. The ideal candidate will support the leasing team by handling administrative tasks, conducting property tours, and assisting with tenant applications. This role involves maintaining leasing documentation, managing inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience for potential tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to tenant inquiries regarding available properties, rental rates, and leasing terms
- Schedule and conduct property tours for prospective tenants
- Prepare and process leasing documents, including rental applications, lease agreements, and renewal documents
- Maintain an up-to-date database of tenant information and leasing contracts
- Assist in the preparation of marketing materials, brochures, and property listings
- Conduct background checks, reference checks, and financial verifications for tenant applications
- Coordinate lease renewals and assist with rent collection
- Support the preparation of financial reports, such as rental income and occupancy rates
- Coordinate property inspections, including move-in and move-out procedures
- Liaise with maintenance departments to address tenant or property-related issues
- Collaborate with brokers and agents to attract potential tenants
- Participate in local promotions or events to enhance property visibility
