Job Description

1. JOB DETAILS:


Position Title: Lead Operator


Broad Band: M09: Professional


Talent Pipeline Layer: Manage Self Operational (MS)


2. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:


Execute general work and perform duties to assist miners, with strict adherence to safety and operational regulations, rules and procedures


3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


Qualification:


High school certificate (Align to Ma'aden's requirements)


Experience:


6 Year relevant experience


Skills:


* Acute safety awareness and attitude
* Basic literacy (read and write Arabic and/or English)
* Meeting (official/regulatory) minimum standards of fitness to perform work in a mine/mine environment
* Ability to understand and follow instructions
* Basic understanding of applicable procedures
* Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, materials
* Initiative

* Strictly adhere to safety regulations, rules, processes and procedures
* Help miners performing duties requiring less skill, e.g. using, supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas, tools and equipment
* Performing (under supervision) simple miner duties, e.g. stop/start machinery, basic maintenance, taking simple readings, etc.
* Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances
• Assist to operate machinery
• Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing
* Execute general work instructions
* General housekeeping tasks
