2. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:
Coordinate and implement Ma'aden's efforts engaging community stakeholders to create a dynamic ongoing relationship between Ma'aden and the community in order to facilitate communications, interactions, involvement and exchanges between Ma'aden and the community for a range of social and organisational outcomes
3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Qualification:
* Bachelors Degree in Social Studies, Public Relations or relevant field
* Project Management in Development certificate (PMD)
Experience:
6 Years experience (of which at least last 2 years in Mining, Mining Engineering and Minerals Sectors)

Stakeholder Engagement:
1. Identify and map stakeholders, with engagement strategies developed and monitor for effectiveness towards the achievement of predefined functional and business objectives (return on investment).
2. Essential to have the skills, expertise and understanding of how to identify stakeholders, especially, but not limited to, new countries with which we wish to engage.
3. Stakeholder engagement to include heads of governments, ministers; country Ambassadors; senior management within competitive companies; regulators.
4. Stakeholders will invariably include joint venture partnerships
5. Establish constructive working relationships between management, peers, team members, customers and suppliers supported by feedback and engagement mechanisms
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Social Upliftment:
1. Implement, measure and maintain stakeholder relations, communities and community affairs initiatives
2. Implement and measure strategies for engaging and developing relationships with governmental representatives and other key stakeholders surrounding the plant
3. Conceptualise, define, screen and select future, positive social upliftment initiatives, projects and investments that contribute to Ma'aden’s social responsibility and sustainability goals, and enhance its reputation with external and internal stakeholders
Stakeholder Communication:
1. Develop and maintain key external and internal communications collaterals such as stakeholder profiles, position statements, key messages, presentations, speeches, press releases, newsletters, etc. on an ongoing and ad-hoc basis
2. Provide input on the design and production of relevant communication materials e.g. print materials, promotional items, stands, displays, signage etc
3. Manage the development and maintenance of internal and external events calendars for both hosted and third-party events
