  • Working on all aspects of Civil Structural scope of work across all phases of projects including Conceptual Studies; Basic; FEED; Detailed Design; Procurement through to Commissioning.
  • Work activities will include both refinery project and proposal work.
  • To ensure all work carried out under his control conforms with codes and practices in accordance with the project requirements and meets all requirements of the contracts specification and ensure all work is carried out within agreed schedules, budgets and procedures.
  • Liaise with members of other disciplines and departments in the design process as required to finalise his designs.
  • Prepares material take-offs/Bills of Quantities (MTOs/BoQ) for his workscope as directed by supervising staff.
  • Provides input to the Civil/Structural Scope of Work narratives for construction scope definition as required by refinery project needs.
  • Preparation of Calculations and Philosophies including checking of others’ work including that of designers.
Qualifications:
  • Candidates must have a BSc degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Must have good years of experience in engineering and design experience of civil and structural design in the process Refinery industries or allied fields.
  • Must have experience in the use of discipline tools such as STAADPro, PCAMAT, PCACOL, Dyna 5 and Plaxis.
  • Saudi ARAMCO experience is an advantage.
