Job Description
Job Purpose:
To manage the budgeting and forecasting activities for all business units, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, master planning, and operational requirements. Partner with business unit finance to develop accurate budget and forecast models reflecting business operations and performance expectations. Provide financial performance insights and recommendations for enhancing profitability and improvement through benchmarking data analysis.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage budgeting and forecasting activities for all business units, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational requirements.
- Partner with business unit finance to develop accurate budget and forecast models.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights and recommendations for profitability enhancement.
- Recommend improvements to budgeting and forecasting processes to improve accuracy and impact.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and 18-month budget forecasts in collaboration with BU finance and Corporate Budgeting & Consolidation team.
- Develop and implement benchmarking processes to measure business unit performance against industry standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
Minimum Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Experience in a large corporate environment, preferably within the finance sector.
- Demonstrated experience in managing budgeting and forecasting processes.
