Lead 3D System Administrator - Offshore Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced 3D Systems Administrator to join the Technip Energies team on an exciting career opportunity! 

Our client has tasked us with providing experienced professionals to work on a 30 hectare reuse project off the eastern coast of Saudi Arbia in the Berri oilfield.

This is an opportunity for US or Canadian nationals and is an Expat assignment in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will need to have a passport and qualify for a Saudi work visa.

Job Summary:

3D Administrator – Minimum seven (7) years’ 3D administration. Candidate must have a degree in IT or other engineering.

Configuration, Administration, and Customization of Aveva PDMS, Aveva E3D and Hexagon Smart 3D, Planstream and Revit:

• Definition of the IT infrastructure (network, servers, databases) for implementation by the IT organization, in collaboration with the Systems Support team
• Initial configuration of the application:
  • User access
  • Catalogs
  • Standard configuration (drawings, reports)
• Implementation followed by the proper functioning of replication between centers
• Definition and realization of possible advanced customizations requested by the disciplines, the project, or the client (PML, VB .Net)
• Management of the generation of 3D review files
• Maintain operational conditions in collaboration with IT and the Systems Support group of IT infrastructures linked to the application
• Managing Autodesk BIM 360

Level of Operation:

• Support for users in the event of a functioning problem with the above applications
• Validate and optimize processes, action plans, instructions linked to the systems for which he is responsible.
• Identify and recommend changes to the systems for which he is responsible.
• Validate the planning of interventions on the system and manage the changes (description, return to previous situation, date, impact, approval request, notification)
• Diagnose and resolve problems relating to the system for which he is responsible.
• Operate, administer, optimize and configure systems
• Analyze and supervise the indicators for which he is responsible
• Enforce the standards and procedures linked to the systems for which he is responsible
• Technically assist operational and/or functional managers during negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors, partners or customers.

About the job:

The 3D Administrator should have 7 years post graduate experience in the stated discipline, at least 5 of which must have been in the relevant industry on projects relevant to the type of projects being supported by this agreement, and with demonstrable ability to operate at the level defined. 

Must have: 

• 7 years minimum in the stated discipline
• Experience with Revit
• Experience with Aveva
• Experience in Offshore
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Nice to have:

• Experience working for Technip Energies
• Experience as PMC
• Experience in KSA or Middle-East with renowned clients.
