Hill International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Engineer to join our team in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
As a Landscape Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of outdoor spaces, including parks, gardens, and recreational areas. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement landscape designs for various projects, including parks, gardens, and recreational areas
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project requirements and identify potential challenges
- Prepare detailed plans, drawings, and specifications for landscape projects
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that designs are feasible and meet all requirements
- Oversee the construction and installation of landscape features, such as irrigation systems, hardscapes, and plantings
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and timely completion
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that landscapes are properly maintained and meet design standards
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for landscape projects
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in landscape design and construction
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in landscape design and construction
- Extensive knowledge of landscape design principles, plant materials, and construction techniques
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software
- Strong project management skills and ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Experience working in the Middle East is a plus
- Fluency in English is required, Arabic language skills are a plus
