Primary Objective:
Assure consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals and targets in assigned territory by identifying opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining existing business.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that Company strategies are correctly and uniformly implemented. Carry out sales calls, targeting high sales areas for maximum efficiency. Develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients. Monitor market trends and competitor activity in assigned territory. Maintain close relationships with key accounts, and ensure their requirements are being met by the company's products where possible. Represent Abbott in a professional manner that aligns with company image, ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards. Enlisting of new launched products. Double visit with other reps to ensure synergy between them in front of key customers. Monitor forecast, orders and DOH with key customers for respective products.
Accountability / Scope Ability to build strong and long-lasting strategic and trusted relationships with KA. Ability to communicate customized value propositions. Ability to negotiate long term agreements/ implement activities in the KA. Ability to reach consensus and resolve conflicts. Ability to monitor performance and adapt plans to external and internal changes. Knowledge of risk management and mitigation plans. Knowledge of legal environment/framework vs. negotiations with KA.
Qualifications:
For Internal Abbott candidates >> 2 years in Abbott & 3 years in pharmaceutical industry
For External candidates >> 3 years in pharmaceutical industry , preferred at least 1 year as Key account manager.
Achieved Expectations is a must in the last two years.
Travel ability up to 50%.
Team player with proven ability to work across different cultures.
Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
Presentation and computer skills.
Multi task oriented.
