Job Description

 On behalf of a Saudi-based FMCG Food and Beverage Trading Company, we seek a Key Account Manager based in the central or western regions of Saudi Arabia.


  • The role involves managing the implementation of sales plans and overseeing all activities, policies, and procedures related to the company's sales.
  • Building and developing relationships with customers.
  • Monitor the sales team's performance, addressing emerging market issues, and keeping track of competitors' activities
  • You will also be responsible for planning and organizing the execution of sales strategies, enhancing the company's public image, and striving to achieve the company's sales, revenue, and profitability goals.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Contribute to preparing the company's annual sales budget and manage the implementation of the annual sales plan.
  • Achieve sales and A/R targets by controlling daily sales, stock, and aging.
  • Set objectives for the sales force per plan guidelines to meet channel, category, and SKU targets.
  • Maintain continuous communication with key customers to meet product and quality expectations.
  • Perform sales activities on major accounts, negotiating prices, agreements, and discounts with trade marketing and the Retail Director.
  • Design, plan, align, and implement monthly/quarterly activity calendars with key account customers.
  • Review and develop sales policies and procedures to enhance effectiveness.
  • Build a market database of supply, demand, prices, and competitors' activities. Introduce new ideas to increase sales volume.
  • Review customer balance confirmations quarterly with the Finance department.
  • Analyze sales reports to identify trends and enhance long-term sales.
  • Determine the required sales force for efficiency.
  • Communicate sales priorities, promotion plans, sales achievements, and gross targets to the sales force. Identify and pursue new business opportunities by expanding the customer base, conducting promotional activities, or making merchandising changes.
  • Prepare 3-month rolling forecasts for the KA Channel and share them with the Retail and Supply Chain Director.
  • Follow up daily on key account customer receivables and collaborate with the finance department to prepare collection schedules.
  • Develop periodic reports.
