IT Strategy and Planning Manager

The IT Strategy and Planning Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of the organization’s information technology strategy. This includes overseeing digital transformation initiatives, creating strategic IT roadmaps, and ensuring alignment with the company’s overall business goals. The role also involves monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), managing project execution, and ensuring successful delivery of strategic IT initiatives.
 

• Develop and lead the execution of the organization’s IT strategy and digital transformation plans in alignment with overall business objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate performance against strategic IT goals using performance indicators to ensure objectives are met on time and within budget.
• Provide expertise in IT governance, ensuring all initiatives align with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Coordinate and oversee the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring seamless integration across departments and with external partners.
• Prepare strategic roadmaps and action plans to facilitate the transformation of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Lead the identification and mitigation of risks related to IT systems and digital initiatives.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholder management in all IT strategy-related matters.
• Regularly review and assess technological innovations, ensuring the organization remains competitive in adopting new solutions.
• Prepare reports and presentations to senior management on the status of IT initiatives, risks, and performance metrics.
• Ensure effective resource allocation, budgeting, and forecasting for IT projects and initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT strategy, planning, and digital transformation, with preference for experience in Saudi Arabia or a similar market.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing IT strategic plans and digital transformation initiatives.
• Proven track record in preparing performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and assess the execution of IT strategies.
• Strong knowledge of project management, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• In-depth understanding of IT governance frameworks, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex IT strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in strategic planning tools and project management software.
