Job Description
The IT Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement of IT-related products and services for LAWAZEM. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their specific IT purchasing needs, develop procurement strategies, and manage vendor relationships. You will ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining high-quality standards for IT equipment and services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with IT teams and department heads to identify IT purchasing needs and requirements.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies for IT-related products and services.
- Source and evaluate vendors and negotiate contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor and manage vendor performance, resolving any issues or conflicts that arise.
- Coordinate with finance and budgeting teams to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
- Oversee the purchase approval process, ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures.
- Track and manage IT inventory, ensuring accuracy and timely replenishment.
- Stay updated on market trends and new technologies in IT procurement.
