Job Description

About the Job:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT L1 Support & IT Management Specialist to join our IT team. This role involves providing first-level technical support to end-users, managing IT assets, overseeing purchasing processes, maintaining records, and ensuring timely renewals of IT services and contracts. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, experience in asset lifecycle management, and a solid understanding of procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

IT L1 Services:

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Respond to user queries via ticketing systems, email, or phone, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common IT issues related to workstations, printers, and peripherals.
  • Assist in user account creation, password resets, and access management.
  • Support basic troubleshooting of Active Directory, MS Office 365, and other enterprise applications.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
  • Maintain IT documentation, FAQs, and user guides.

IT Asset Management & Purchasing:

  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets, including laptops, desktops, servers, and peripherals.
  • Track asset allocation, movement, and lifecycle management.
  • Assist in the procurement of IT hardware, software, and services by liaising with vendors.
  • Review and compare quotes to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Ensure proper tagging and labeling of IT equipment.
  • Maintain records of warranties, service contracts, and support agreements.
