IT Infra Project Lead

- Lead and manage all IT infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
- Create and develop project charter, work structure, reports, milestones, delivery of every project task within the project. The project lead should take ownership on tasks where external vendor scope is involved and ensure every task related to project is delivered on time.
- Assess every IT project proposal using different project methodologies, collaborate with stakeholders to identify and establish project goals, objectives, and timelines.
- Understand the scope, cost & timeline of all IT related projects and provide data to IT Manager in building the roadmap, milestones, project capex and operational costs.
- Consider IT hardware and all other IT service costs and needs, assist with capacity planning to ensure seamless deployment
- Monitor and control all ongoing projects, measure unplanned projects and its impact to the resource and business, perform and submit a clear assessment to get further validation.
- Track and manage project expenditures to ensure projects are within budget and financial goals are met.
- Monitor project progress, identify deviations from plans, and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Perform risk assessments and submit report to align with all the relevant stakeholders as needed
- Procure all necessary network and IT hardware for the project and handle the end to end process of procurement
- Perform the setup and configuration of networks, servers, laptops, desktops and other IT peripherals
- Test all IT hardware before the deployment and schedule the delivery according to the site readiness in different phases
- Coordinate and setup with regional L2 business apps team for the app setup and ensure to provide necessary information of the project to get the delivery on-time.
- Ensure proper deployment and maintenance of SAP applications and related infrastructure.
- Ensure project requirements and deliverables are clearly defined, documented, and communicated to IT Manager & other stake holders.
- Record and maintain every stage of the project in meeting minutes to report to avoid any misalignments
- Ensure all projects follow standard operating procedures, company policies, industry standards and global best practices.
- Prepare and submit RFF's, SOP's, KB articles to ensure a smooth handover to IT operations team and complete sign-off document with all key stakeholders, internal operations team and customers.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE OVERALL: 3-5 years Professional Level YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR ROLE: 3-5 years Professional Level
