Job Description
•Support the Operations Management in all day to day activities
•Coordinate with vendors & sub- contractor to get freight rates and all the cost on the shipment
•Coordinate with sales department in order to get the cost for their cost calculation.
•To inform all concerned party for the shipment schedule/status
•Handle delivery cargo-related documents and have the POD’s on file
•Responsible for order process and invoicing of those related to customer.
•Ensure timely dispatch of all invoices to customers.
•All cost for the job are booked and closed.
•Prepare, maintain and update documentation of processes to meet accounts requirement and changes in customer requirement.
•Analyze the current ordering, pricing and planning for improving daily operation in order to get more accuracy, shorten lead- time and standardized process.
•To deal with customer complaints on any invoice related issues.
•To monitor the supplier performance and seek opportunity for cost improvement
•To ensure compliance and other legal requirements (OHSAS and Environmental)
•To uphold the BDP “Experience” Vision.
•Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from any stream
•Minimum of a year experience in freight forwarding on a recognized supply chain or freight forwarding management qualification is advantageous, but not required
•Must be computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•Excellent communication skills and able to speak English fluently.
