We are looking for a Inventory Supervisor who will be supporting and driving Ingram Micro’s physical security solutions in the Saudi Arabia market.


What will you do?


Inventory Management and Oversight:


Supervise and coordinate daily inventory operations, ensuring accurate tracking of stock levels.


Oversee and conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.


Investigate and resolve discrepancies in stock records, implementing corrective actions as needed.


Process Improvement:


Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures to optimize accuracy and efficiency.


Identify and recommend process improvements to streamline inventory management and reduce errors.


Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to integrate best practices in inventory handling.


Team Leadership and Training:


Lead, train, and mentor inventory staff to ensure adherence to policies and promote professional development.


Assign tasks and set clear performance expectations for the team.


Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance productivity.


Coordination and Communication:


Work closely with the purchasing and warehouse teams to maintain proper stock levels and plan for incoming shipments.


Communicate with vendors and other departments to manage stock replenishment and address inventory-related issues.


Ensure timely reporting and documentation of inventory metrics to relevant stakeholders.


Compliance and Safety:


Ensure that inventory activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.


Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.


Enforce proper handling and storage protocols to safeguard products and personnel.


Data Analysis and Reporting:


Analyze inventory data to monitor trends, identify potential issues, and forecast future inventory needs.


Prepare regular reports on inventory performance, highlighting areas for improvement.


Use inventory management software to maintain accurate records and generate insights.


Problem Resolution:


Address and resolve issues related to inventory inaccuracies and discrepancies.


Develop strategies to mitigate potential inventory risks and ensure continuous stock availability.


Which Talent do you bring?


Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inventory management or a related role within a warehouse or distribution center.


Proven experience in supervising or managing a team is highly desirable.


Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.


Proficiency in using inventory management systems and software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).


Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite (especially Excel) for data analysis and reporting.


Knowledge of inventory control processes and best practices.


Demonstrated leadership ability with the skills to train, motivate, and supervise a team effectively.


Excellent communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams and external partners.


Problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.


Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple tasks and ensuring inventory accuracy.


Analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions related to inventory levels and processes.


Ability to identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures.


Familiarity with health and safety standards relevant to warehouse and inventory operations.
