Job Description

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using [specific software/tools, e.g., ERP systems, WMS].
  • Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts, shipments, and receipts.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, shortages, and overstock situations.
  • Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess stock.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Generate and analyze reports on inventory metrics, including turnover rates, aging stock, and fill rates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to inventory management.
  • Assist in the implementation of new inventory management systems or tools.
  • Provide support during peak seasons or special projects as needed.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
