Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and committed Communication Senior Specialist (Internal Communication) to join our growing team. As a passionate storyteller, you will play an important role in helping to create first-class internal communications campaigns and materials for NEOM, supporting with a diverse range of responsibilities. Your work will include campaign planning, campaign development, campaign analysis, as well as researching and writing communications materials. Commitment to high-quality delivery is a key atrribute to this position. The role will require you to manage relationships with internal stakeholders and clients and provide support for their communicaiton projects.


Position description and responsibilities


Planning and Strategy


  • Contribute to the design and implementation of NEOM’s strategic communication objectives and goals by providing articulate internal communications messaging and showcasing an interest and passion for NEOM’s strategy
  • Support with developing, implementing and updating Communication Department operational plans and their implementation to take part in the realization of the envisioned future of NEOM
  • Collaborate as directed with relevant NEOM staff members, stakeholders and leaders to identify required projects and initiatives that support the achievement of NEOM’s strategic communications vision

People Management   


  • Support the creation of a culture of development, guidance and performance within the Communication Department
  • Take personal responsibility, in collaboration with the Communication Manager, Communication and PR Executive Director and broader team, for building, maintaining and operating as part of a high-performance team
  • Assist in setting performance objectives by providing necessary support
  • Actively participate to create a high-performance working environment embracing NEOM’s values

Knowledge, Skills and Experience


  • Between 3-6 years’ experience in either internal or external communication teams
  • Proactive approach with a ‘completer-finisher’ attitude to see jobs through to a successful conclusion
  • Ability to support the preparation of comprehensive communication strategies to align with NEOM’s strategic communication goals
  • Thorough understanding and appreciation of internal communications channels and tone of voice
  • Proven record in developing high-quality written communication materials and campaigns, with a keen eye for detail and drive to create engaging and inspiring content
  • Develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations to support planning for internal communication initiatives and campaigns
  • Contribute and manage the development of coordinated schedules and plans for internal communication campaigns
  • Support the development and quality delivery of Community-wide colleague engagement activities
  • Media monitoring, tracking, and documenting campaign results; analyze data/outcomes
  • Some basic technical experience in social media, podcasts and video creation or editing is a bonus

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or related field
  • 3-6 years of experience in internal and/or external corporate communications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (native-speaker fluency)
  • Proficiency and experience in delivering events
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and Google Docs
